Why is my deposit showing as Expired?

A deposit expires when the preauthorization hold period ends without being captured.

• For Stripe, the hold period is 7 days.

• For Mamopay, the hold period can be extended up to 33 days, but only if you’ve requested this directly from Mamopay.

• If the booking is longer than the hold period, the PMS automatically switches the deposit to a normal payment link instead of a hold.

👉 If a deposit expires unintentionally, you’ll need to create a new payment request for the guest.
