If your security deposit shows as expired, it means the hold period set by the payment gateway has passed without being captured. The PMS doesn’t control this expiration — it’s managed by the gateway (Stripe, Mamopay, etc.).
🪜 Steps to Troubleshoot

Check the payment gateway used: - 
Go to Booking → Payments tab. 
- 
Identify whether the transaction used Stripe, Mamopay, or another provider.

Understand the hold duration: - 
Stripe: Up to 7 days maximum. 
- 
Mamopay: Up to 33 days, available only upon request. 
 
- 
- 
Check booking duration: 
 If the booking is longer than the hold period, the deposit link automatically converts to a standard payment link.
- 
Reissue a deposit link: 
 Create a new deposit link if you still need to secure a hold from the guest.

Always capture or release deposits before the hold period ends.

Deposits are automatically voided if not manually captured in time.
