The Unified Inbox feature in mr.alfred PMS brings all your guest communications from Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia into one central location. This allows teams to streamline conversations, respond quickly, and keep track of all messages without switching between platforms.
⚡ Note: Currently supported channels are Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia.
🔹 Interface Overview
- The left sidebar lists all current conversations, showing:
- Guest name
- Property name and code
- Reservation reference number
- Channel logo (Airbnb, B.com, etc.)
- Check-in/out dates
- Timestamp of the latest message
- Unread message count (if any)
- The chat panel displays the selected conversation, including:
- Guest message history
- System-generated messages (e.g., payment confirmations)
- Your manual messages
- File attachments (JPG, PNG, PDF, GIF supported)
- The header includes:
- Property & Booking Code
- Guest Name
- Check-in/out dates
- Total guests
🔢 Filter & Organize
Use the dropdown filter to sort conversations by reservation phase:
- Upcoming
- Arrivals
- In-House
- Departures
- Past
You can also search by keyword to quickly find any guest or booking.
Unread messages are clearly marked and can be manually marked as unread again for internal team follow-up.
🌐 Channel Integration Notes
- Airbnb: Fully integrated with two-way messaging.
- Expedia: Integrated with native messaging.
- Booking.com:
- Works using email alias addresses assigned to each guest.
- Messages sent from mr.alfred PMS will reach the guest and appear in Booking.com’s chat.
- Any emails received at the alias also show inside the Unified Inbox.
ℹ️ Even if you automate alerts in the PMS, they still appear in the Booking.com chat via the alias.
📧 Attach Files
When replying to guests, you can attach images and PDF documents (up to 10 MB). This is useful for sharing:
- House rules
- Property maps
- Invoices or receipts
- Registration instructions
