The Discounts submodule in the Revenue module allows you to configure automatic price reductions based on:
- Stay length
- Booking dates
- Booking creation windows
- Channel-specific promotions
These discounts are ideal for applying weekly/monthly stay incentives or early-bird and last-minute offers.
🧭 Accessing the Discounts Submodule
- Go to:
Revenue → Discounts
- Use the top filters to search existing discounts by:
- Keyword
- Property
- Date range (stay or creation)
- Channel
- Status (Enabled / Disabled)
➕ Creating a New Discount
- Click “+ Add Discount”
- Fill out the discount details:
🔹 Required Fields:
- Properties – Select one or more properties
- Type – Select discount logic:
Long Stay
,Weekly
, etc. - Name – Label your discount clearly (e.g. “Weekly Winter Offer”)
- Booking Dates Between – Stay date range the discount applies to
- Booking Created Between – Reservation creation window
- Minimum Stay / Maximum Stay – Stay duration range
- Discount (%) – Total discount applied to eligible bookings
- Apply On – Select which OTA channels this applies to
- Status – Enable or disable the rule
Optional:
- Description – Add internal notes or logic explanation
🔄 An individual discount will be created for each selected property.
🧠 How It Works
- The system checks if all criteria match (stay length, booking window, channel)
- If the booking fits the rule, the discount is applied automatically
- Discount is calculated on the final price before taxes/fees
⚠️ Note: Discounts configured here do not sync with OTAs. They only apply to direct bookings via the booking engine or internal reservation creation.
✅ Tip: Use different rules for each season or target OTA if needed
