How to Set Up an iCal Connection in mr.alfred PMS

📋 Overview

The iCal integration in mr.alfred PMS allows you to sync calendar availability with external booking platforms that support iCal format, such as Airbnb, VRBO, Spotahome, or Google Calendar.

You can both export your property’s calendar from mr.alfred and import availability calendars from other platforms.

🔄 This is a one-way or two-way sync depending on the setup. iCal updates are not instant and may take several hours to refresh depending on the third-party system.

🔗 Exporting the iCal Link from mr.alfred PMS

1. Go to: Properties → Select Property → Integrations tab
2. Scroll to the iCals section.
3. Copy the PMS iCal export link (e.g. https://api.mralfred.io/api/calendar/ical/PXXXX-XXXXX.ics)
4. Paste this link into the “import calendar” section of your chosen third-party platform (e.g. Airbnb, Google Calendar).

This will allow external platforms to read your availability data from mr.alfred.

🔄 Importing an iCal Link into mr.alfred PMS

1. Go to: Properties → Select Property → Publish tab
2. Scroll down to the iCals section under Channels.
3. Locate the field for the relevant platform (e.g. Airbnb).
4. Paste the iCal URL copied from that platform (e.g. Airbnb calendar link).
5. Enable the toggle switch next to it to activate the sync.
6. Click “Save” to confirm.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Manual Sync Timing: iCal feeds are not synced in real-time. It may take several hours for updates to reflect.
• Only Availability: iCal sync only handles availability. It does not sync prices, content, or restrictions.
• No Alerts: There are no system alerts if the sync fails. You should regularly verify calendar accuracy.
