How to create a Host invoice?

Property owner invoices are automatically generated based on the finance settings configured for each property. This guide explains how to access and configure these settings to ensure correct invoicing.


Step 1: Access Property Finance Settings

You can access finance settings in two ways:

Option 1: Via the Property Module

  1. Go to the Property Module

  2. Select the Property you want to configure

  3. Navigate to the Finance Tab

Option 2: Via the Finance Module

  1. Go to the Finance Module

  2. Open the Settings Submodule

  3. Select the Property from the list

  4. The Finance Tab for that property will be displayed


Step 2: Configure Finance Settings

Once inside the Finance Tab, configure the following:

  • Management Fee

    • Choose between percentage-based or fixed amount.

    • If selecting percentage, define the calculation basis:

      • Net Income

      • Room Night

      • Room Night + Fees

      • Net Income + Fees

  • Calculation Method

    • Choose how the invoice is calculated:

      • Check-in Date

      • Check-out Date

      • Prorated

  • Automatic Invoice Generation

    • Enable this setting to automatically generate invoices every month.

  • Bank Account Selection

    • Choose the bank account where payments should be made.

  • Fixed Expenses

    • Add fixed monthly expenses (if applicable) for additional services as per the owner’s contract.

  • Billing Information

    • Enter the property owner’s billing details.


Step 3: Reviewing and Downloading Invoices

Once the finance settings are configured:

  • The system will automatically generate invoices based on the set criteria.

  • To review invoices:

    1. Go to the Finance Module → Invoices

    2. Locate the property owner’s invoice

    3. Click Download or Send Invoice via automated alert. Property owners can also view them on their Host App
