How Long Does It Take to Onboard a Property on Expedia?

📋 Overview

If you’ve chosen to onboard your property on Expedia with the help of mr.alfred’s distribution and onboarding services, it’s important to understand the typical timeframes and steps involved.

⏳ How Long Does It Take?

  • Expedia listing onboarding typically takes 3 to 4 business days, assuming all information is correct and provided upfront.
  • This includes:
    • Internal setup within mr.alfred PMS
    • Configuration and mapping to Expedia via Channex
    • Sync and activation from Expedia’s backend

🧾 What Can Delay the Process?

  • If your property requires a tourism or commercial license, Expedia may require additional validation.
  • The approval time for the tourism license varies depending on the region, and it’s managed directly by Expedia.

This step is outside of mr.alfred’s control and may cause additional delays.
