🔧 Creating a New Alert

When creating an alert, you must define:

🔹 General Settings

  • Name – Internal reference name for the alert
  • Status – Enabled/Disabled
  • Trigger Event – What triggers the alert (e.g., check-in date, check-out date, booking confirmation)
  • Timing – How many days before/after the event it will be sent (only available for some triggers)

🔹 Recipients

  • Recipient Type – Guest, Host, Internal, or Tower Security
  • Delivery Method – Email (currently the default) – Coming soon: SMS, Whatsapps, Unified Inbox

🔹 Content

  • Email Subject & Body – Fully customizable, supports placeholders for dynamic content
  • Use merge tags, that can be found under the name Token, or write them directly like:
    • {{guest_name}}
    • {{property_name}}
    • {{check_in_date}}
    • {{booking_code}}

🏢 Examples of Common Alerts

  • Guest – Pre-arrival instructions 2 days before check-in
  • Host – Monthly payout confirmation on month end
  • Internal Team – Notification of a same-day booking
  • Tower Security – Alert on guest check-in with booking details

💡 You can configure different alert templates per recipient group for the same event.
