How to track my payments? How to collect deposit?

Payment and Deposit Collection

In order to view the detailed payment status of your booking, please go to the booking details and click on the Payment Tab.

From there, you can view details of how the payment is being collected. Booking payment collection types are Upon booking, Upon arrival and Security Deposit.

All of these fees, taxes and deposit set up is done directly in the Property Module. In case you require any changes, please contact us and we will help you in adjusting this set up on your properties.

From this tab, you can find the payment link to share with the guest if you wish to collect the payment via our online payment gateway. If not, you can update payment status and indicate that these amounts have been collected by other payment methods.

In the case of Security Deposits, there are two types of payment collection via the links provided:

  • Pre-authorization: only applicable on bookings for less than 5 nights. Amount will be frozen on the guest account and after which the user can charge the guest for any damages at any point (up to 6 days). After charging an amount from the deposit, the remaining balance will be released back, therefore, make sure the amount charge is reflecting all damages costs applicable to guest.
  • Payment: above 5 nights the link to collect deposits is a regular payment link, by which the guest can pay the deposit but the amount will incur a payment fee, however, the amount has no set limitation of when it can be sent back to the guests, as it is a regular payment, therefore, the user can apply their own internal procedure to charge and return deposit to the guest.
