I cancelled a booking in the MrAlfred PMS, but it is showing up as confirmed again, why?

OTA bookings can only be cancelled via the OTA. Any booking from OTA cancelled directly in PMS and not through the OTA, will change back, since the original booking has not been cancelled.

Only exception for this is VRBO, who can be cancelled from the PMS, as they don’t manage cancellation via their site.
