How to Integrate Chekin with mr.alfred PMS

🔗 What is Chekin?

Chekin is a platform that automates and digitizes all steps of the guest check-in process, from booking confirmation until check-out. By connecting Chekin with mr.alfred PMS, your guest data is automatically transferred to Chekin, and check-in forms are generated without manual intervention.


⚙️ Step 1: Enable the Integration

  1. Go to the Apps module in mr.alfred PMS.

  2. Locate Chekin under the Operations category.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Enter your Chekin account email and password.

    • (Optional) If you also want to connect your police account (for jurisdictions that require reporting), tick the checkbox.

  5. Click Save Connection.

📌 Once connected, your PMS account will now be linked to Chekin.


🏠 Step 2: Sync Properties with Chekin

  1. Go to Property Settings → Publish tab.

  2. Enable the option to connect the property to Chekin.

  3. Once enabled, PMS will start sending booking details to Chekin.

 


📄 Step 3: Guest Check-in Form

  • For each booking, Chekin generates a check-in form.

  • This link is automatically visible in the Booking Details → Integrations tab.

  • You can:

    • Copy the link and send it to the guest manually.

    • Automate guest communication with the alert token:

      • [[BookingOnlineCheckInUrl]]

 


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Make sure your Chekin account is fully configured (e.g., guest information fields, ID upload requirements, police reporting if applicable).

  • PMS only pushes the booking data to Chekin; the customization of forms must be managed inside your Chekin account.

  • If an integration issue occurs, verify credentials and property enablement both in PMS and Chekin.
